If you are looking for an LED monitor that's roughly 24 inches wide then the Viewsonic is a fantastic pick. If you are searching for something larger, then the Viewsonic may not be the best one. When compared with other 24-inch monitors, the Viewsonic is very good at saving power. The monitor doesn't contain any mercury but it features full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution making it fantastic for work and home. The Viewsonic monitor has a piano black finish and can be mounted on a stand or wall mount bracket. ItThe Viewsonic monitor automatically adjusts for aspect ratio so you won't have extended images. It will present an image in its proper aspect ratio which may mean black side bars. The Viewsonic monitor features a best pixel performance policy, a three year manufacturer's warranty and it is Windows 7 certified.

It will be possible to see a lot of detail and information on your screen mainly because of the 1920 x 1080 maximum resolution. If you work on spreadsheets or databases everyday, this makes a great monitor. By seeing more on the monitor, there's less scrolling for you to do. Viewsonic's LED monitors do not contain any mercury, unlike CF monitors, so it is safe for the environment. One great thing is the uniform brightness which makes black text stick out on a white background, and therefore, easy to read.

The only real problem is the internal speakers so you would possibly have to purchase external speakers. If you're not going to use it for anything other than computer work, then you should be fine with the built-in speakers. You will have less clutter if you limit yourself to the internal sound system. If you're casually listening to MP3s, the speakers will do a good job. What can be a slight concern for some people is that the base is not adjustable, so it can't be raised. If you need it higher, you might need to put it on several books.

It will hinge a lot on what you need the display monitor for. No doubt that having a big screen would be terrific for the majority of situations, but not everyone can afford them, or have the room. Then again, if you do buy the Viewsonic VX2450WM-LED 24-Inch (23.6-Inch Vis) Widescreen LED Monitor, you may not want another again.
