How I Met Your current Mother (abbr. HIMYM) is an American sitcom that premiered on CBS on September 19, 2005, created by Craig Thomas and Carter Bays.
As a framing system, the main character, Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) [1] using narration by Bob Saget, in the year 2030 recounts to his son and child the events that resulted in his meeting their mommy, which explains the title and permits a narration in the past tense. How I Met Your Mother is a critical success, and has received consistently strong ratings throughout their run. Inspired by the idea "let's reveal our friends and the particular stupid stuff we did in Big apple, " How I Attained Your Mother is Bays' in addition to Thomas' idea.
