If you are having difficulty in sectioning your research methods, do not despair! We will help you in compiling your methods into a subdivision and win the loyalty of your audience.

Beginning with the different methods:

RESEARCH METHODS:

There are several different methods for writing. It depends on the type of your research which method you are going to use for your research.

Quantitative method:

As the name suggests, this method involves the use of quantities and numerical values to present the information collected. This method consists of data that is measurable in nature, and can be expressed in numbers. For instance, we can conduct surveys personal interviews, personal competition interview, web based surveys, and media test services, shopping research services, telephonic interviews, retail audit and interviews; experiments; simulation; and mechanical observation.

Qualitative method:

This method deals with such information that cannot be expressed in terms of numerical, and is presented in the form of words depending solely on observation of the author and his questioning concerning the topic. This method is concerned with thoughts, opinions, and attitudes.

After you understand the methods of investigation, you will know which method to use and where. If it contains mathematical problems and solutions, statistics, then obviously the method to be used is quantitative. But if the research is about the behavior of the population and the reasons for a certain behavior, then qualitative method will be used. There are some topics which include both quantitative and qualitative information.

INVESTIGATION METHODS SECTION:

What is the purpose of Dissertation methodology chapter?

Its basic aim is to educate the readers about how the research was done and what type of research was done. It should describe all the means of getting information and all the evidences that the information is reliable. Educate your audience as much as you can about the procedure of your research.

Compilation of the subdivision:

Your subdivision should include all the information of the research that you have conducted to gather the information throughout. The total layout of your section will contain an introduction, centre paragraphs, and a conclusion. In the introductory paragraph, you will mention the method that you have used for your investigation. Then in the body paragraphs you will describe the methods used and provide evidence for the credibility of your information. You can conclude by summarizing the section in a brief manner.

Conclusion:

The procedures depend on the subject and the type of research that is required to collect the relevant data. Proper justification should be stated for the method used. For example, when comparing two drugs, quantitative method is more effective than the qualitative method.
